On Thursday, Rihanna shared a seductive Instagram album of her embracing an assortment of vinyl records lying on the ground.
The 33-year-old pop sensation was introducing her new limited edition vinyl albums, which are now available for purchase online, as part of the “Rih-Issue.”
She evoked the ’70s for its social media campaign, dressing in sensual fishnet stockings and black platform high-heeled boots.
She wore what were called “hot pants” in the 1970s along with a black blouse that had a psychedelic print on it. Her outfit was retro chic.
She sat on the floor, leaning back on her back, her blond hair falling loose behind her, her features accentuated by makeup.
She leaned fully into the throwback concept, smoking a cigarette and lounging in a blue shag armchair, striking an imposing attitude.
She sat for the camera wearing a stylish black leather jacket and crossed her legs to highlight her extremely high platforms.
“Today’s kids will never know what vinyl is,” the Barbadian bombshell remarked in the description of her Instagram image.
Along with some of her goods, Rihanna is offering all of the vinyl records from her “Rih-Issue” for sale on her website.
Each record includes an item of apparel, resulting in package offers that cost at least $100 each, and sometimes even more.
Rihanna has put out eight studio albums since her 2005 debut album, Music of the Sun; nevertheless, Anti was her last release, which came out in 2016.
Since then, her admirers have been pleading with her for another album, but despite her occasional sneak peeks at new songs, she has refused to put out another one.
Her focus has shifted in recent years to her clothing and cosmetics company, Savage X Fenty, which features body-positive lingerie.
Christiane Pendarvis, chief marketing and creative officer of Savage X Fenty, confirmed to Business Insider that the company will “absolutely” launch physical stores in 2019.
“Customers who don’t feel comfortable purchasing online” was the topic she brought up, emphasizing how crucial fit and comfort are.
In terms of her private life, Rihanna is still in a relationship with A$AP Rocky, with whom she had long been acquainted.
