“The most beautiful thing… is that [children] come into the world with their own individuality and sincerity, without any logic or conformity, which usually makes you feel that you must fit into a certain group,” Rihanna said in the interview when discussing her belief that her children should be encouraged to be unique.

It’s truly lovely to see, and I want to keep guiding them through it and letting them know that they can be anyone they want to be. They should totally accept who they are because it’s lovely and distinctive. I adore them in their exact form.

Regarding the hair braiding culture, she continued, saying, “This is a tradition passed down from our ancestors and a way to protect our roots.” It serves to remind us of our origins.

“This is the history we lost.” It’s in our genes, therefore I instantly wanted my kids to have braids in their hair.

The Chinese branch of the fashion bible revealed pictures of Rihanna on the front cover, teasing her as the cover star for the April issue.

In another monochromatic shot, which was captured up close to Rihanna’s face, her tattooed hand made contact with her plaited hair while she smoldered for the camera.

Last week, Rihanna made the announcement that her Fenty Beauty brand will be accessible in China as of April 1.
