This means that Milan and Sasha will spend the first half of the month with their father and the second half with their mother. At the moment, the kids are living with Pique in his bachelor pad in downtown Barcelona.

The singer hopes to bring her children back to the US to begin a fresh chapter after her divorce, but Pique prefers for them to remain in Barcelona. Both parties’ legal teams are actively working towards a resolution.

Pique and Shakira have both faced their fair share of challenges recently. Pique is dealing with injuries and facing the realization that his age may be catching up with him, while also being told he may not fit into the future plans of coach Xavi at Nou Camp. On the other hand, Shakira has been caught up in legal troubles, with accusations of tax evasion in Spain between 2012 and 2014 hanging over her head. If found guilty, the beloved Colombian singer could potentially be sentenced to up to eight years in prison.
